一、教学目标

Step1 Warming-up
Sing “I love my bedroom”.
Review the words: bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, like
S1: There’s a sofa in the living room.
S2: There’s a chair and a desk in the bedroom.
Learn the new words: classroom, art room, computer room, music room.
Step2 Presentation
T: Look, who are they? S: Yang Ling and Miss Li.
T: This is Nancy Black. She’s Yang Ling’s friend. She’s a new student. (Learn: Nancy Black, a new student)
T: Can you show her around? S: Yes!
Teach: show her around
T: What happened? Let’s watch the cartoon, please.
Ask and answer the questions, then fill the forms: classrooms-24-ourclassroom-on the second floor-two computer rooms, a library-on the third floor, a music room, a table tennis room-on the first floor
Listen to the tape and notice the pronunciations and intonations.
Try to read the dialogue.
Read the story together.
Choose one kind of reading and read in groups.
Read this story in roles.

Step3 Consolidation
Show Ss pictures and review the new words

Step1 Warming-up
出示课前准备好的楼层示意图,师生交谈谈论图上设施的名称。
T: What’s on the second floor?
S: There is a computer room.
T: Is there a reading room on the first floor? S: Yes,there is.
T: Are there any table tennis rooms on the first floor?
S: No, there aren’t.
Step2.Presentation
In the UK and US, there is some different about the first floor. Who can tell us? 学生讲述不同国家的文化差异(课前查阅资料)
Are there any (要注意any的用法)English books in the shelf?
any的用法是本单元的一个重点,告诉学生some 和any 两个单词的区别,并且在什么时候用什么单词,在学习完后要给学生几个例句,并且提供一些练习让学生复习。
Magic eyes game(“魔力眼”游戏)
如: Is there a basketball in the playground?
Are there any apples in the basket?
T: Let’s look at this picture. It is the first day of the new term. All the students are back at school. They are happy to see each other again.
T: Is today the first day of the new term?
S: No, it isn’t.
(老师拓展 the third week 或 the fourth week of the new term)
T: Look, all the students are back at school. They are happy to see each other again.
T: Are you happy to see each other on the first day?
S: Yes, we are.
T: See, what’s in their school? (可使用课件a new building)

让学生自由猜测。 There are… (课件显示答案twenty-four classrooms)

Practice
(1)学生合上书本听录音,整体感知对话内容。
(2)学生打开书本,听录音跟读模仿。
(3)分小组活动,在小组内表演对话。
Step3. Consolidation
教师可将学校平面图发放给学生,学生分组讨论,以介绍校园为主题进行对话练习。
Step4. Homework
1.听录音朗读并表演对话。
2.背诵并默写课文内容。以口语小组为单位,课后自由交谈学校情况和布局,口语组长检查。

李希老师:二单元进入There be 句型的否定句和疑问句,对学生来说是一个挑战,希望通过句型转化的操练让学生能自己从中掌握一定的规律,从而更好地运用,how many ...are there? 的句型也是一个重难点,可以着重强调。
