刘红美:Unit 8 How are you?这个单元主要是通过打电话的形式来询问对方的身体状况。而本单元的重难点也就是打电话时的英语表达和身体的状态。
本课的情境必定与打电话相关,朱洁老师让他们事先制作好纸杯电话。课堂上,在歌曲导入结束后,在Free talk中她利用打电话的形式,从老师口中将打电话用语先呈现出来,给学生一种印象,并且将已学句型融入到打电话中,以打电话的形式来复习旧知,我觉得这是比较好的,为下面的学习也做好了铺垫。在师生间的一问一答中,学生已能很好的理解和感悟,也知道能加入以前学过的句子,调动知识储备。还通过电话的形式过渡到课文复习和表演环节。
韩丽:课堂上会听很重要,只有在一定量语言的输入后才会有输出。学生首先要认真听老师说,这个没有什么太大问题。还要认真听自己的小伙伴说什么。为了防止学生在别人发言时有事不关己的心态,朱洁老师会想法设法提问。譬如一组同学电话打完了,她会提问 Where do they want to go?/ What’s the matter with…那么他们在听时就会思考,抓住一些关键词句。久而久之,学生都能够认真去听别人怎么说,说什么了。
对于说,我认为只要敢于表达,不在乎自己说的怎么样就是很好的习惯。在这一点上我觉得老师的态度亲切了,表扬鼓励多了,学生自然敢说。另外,每位学生发言后,能够及时得到来自同学的评价反馈,从别人眼中知道自己的情况,也会激发他们去表达。受到来自老师同学几方面的正面语言影响,自信心都会增加,还怕说错什么呢。
回顾一下这节课,有满意的地方,也有不满的地方。不满在于老师并没有多去思考课堂上的各种变化情况,学生不一定会讲到老师想要的答案,有时的回答会出其不意或者说不可思议,那么此时老师该给出何种反馈。
Unit8 How are you 第一课时教案
一、教材分析
本单元以打电话询问健康为主题,主要教授了电话用语和如何询问身体状况的表达,运用丰富多彩的的新句型进行讨论和交流。文章内容贴近学生生活,且与第七单元的课文内容联系紧密。
二、教学目标
(1)能听懂、会说,会读句型: This is…speaking. May I s,主要教授了peak to…? I’m sorry to hear that. How are you? I’m fine, thank you. See you tomorrow. See you.
(2)能听懂、会说,会读词汇:come to school, cold, fever, cough, headache.
(3)能听懂、会说,会读,会写:may,hear, take care, at school.
(4)能用英语打电话,并培养学生关心他人的品质。
二、教学重点、难点
1. 能听懂、会说,会读句型:
This is…speaking. May I speak to…? I’m sorry to hear that. How are you? I’m fine, thank you. See you tomorrow. See you.
2. 能听懂、会说,会读,会写:
may,hear, take care, at school.

1. Let’s talk:
①How are you? → I’m fine/ happy.
②Do you like English? (Ss: Yes, we do.) → I’m happy to hear that. (Bb: I’m … to hear that.)
③What can you hear? → a telephone (Teach: telephone)
④Do you have a telephone at home?
⑤Can you make telephone calls? → (Bb: a telephone call)
⑥Can we make telephone calls in English? (Ss: No, we can’t.)
→ T: Don’t be worried. Today ,we are learning how to make telephone calls in English .
2. A telephone call
T: Here are some sentences about telephone calls.(出示打电话句型Hello, this is …speaking. May I speak to …Hello…. This is …) (New words: speak speaking)
T: Now, I’d like to call someone in class.
(师生示范打电话:)
A: Hello, this is …speaking. May I speak to …
B: Hello…. This is …
A: How are you?
B: I’m fine, thank you. How are you?
A:I’m fine too.
(学生准备,请两组展示)

I’m sorry to hear that.(Tips“I’m sorry to hear that.” 一般是听到别人说不好的事情时你的反应,意思是“听到这消息我很遗憾。”)
