the seasons听课反思

On April 16th, we learnt two lessons from Mr. Zhu and Miss. Pan. The two lessons were talked about the seasons. They chose different parts, Mr. Zhu chose part A and Miss. Pan chose part B/C/D.

The first lesson is taught by Mr. Zhu. At the beginning of the class, the students sang a song together, they sang happily. This song is about the seasons, so next step is the free talk on “which season do you like? Why?” The key sentences were presented by free talk that Ss can understand easily. When the Ss had learnt the new words, Mr. Zhu showed a chant about four seasons and the characteristic of the weather. The second step is learning the text, Mr. Zhu designed five tasks to help the Ss understand the text. They’re lead-in, listen and answer some questions, new sentences, watch and choose, listen and read. The third step is practice. Mr. Zhu asked “can you use an adjective to describe the seasons in New York?” The Ss said different words, then written them on the blackboard. On the blackboard, there are some informations about the seasons, Ss chose one season to retell. The last step, Mr. Zhu asked the Ss to make a dialogue about the seasons.
