Step One: Warm up
1. greetings
T: hi, boys and girls, it’s a fine day today. I’m very happy to see you. My name is Windy. I’m your new friend today and I want to know every one of you.
---Hi/Hello/Good morning. I’m windy.
Ss: hi Hi/Hello/Good morning, I’m …
T: Nice to meet you. /How old are you? /Do you like English?
Ss: ….
T: Well, you’re so lovely and friendly. I like you very much. I’ve learned many of you like English. Me too. I ‘m an English teacher. It’s my job. Do you know some other words about jobs?
Ss: Yes.
T: Now, let’s play a game about jobs, ok?
2. play a game
T: here is the rule.
Ppt: when you see the picture or phrase, you should stand up quickly and say the right word about jobs.
当你看到图片或短语时,要立即说出对应的职业单词。
When you see the robber or prisoner, you should stand up quickly and shout’ Help! Help!’
当你看到强盗或囚犯时,要立即站起来说‘help! help!’
Great, boys and girls, you can say a lot of words about jobs. But do you remember their jobs in the book?
Step Two: Presentation
1. look and say

T:this is Mike, what does his father do?
S1: He’s a teacher. He teaches English.
T: good! What does his mother do? And what does her mother do? 同时呈现书P49 插图
Work in pairs. Talk about it.
2. look and find
T: Well, boys and girls, look at the sentences in the form. Pay attention to these words, what rules have you found?
PPT: 呈现书P51的前三个表格,用红圈圈出do, does, teach, helps, makes这几个单词,让学生观察尝试自己寻找规律。
T:总结规律,在一般现在时中,如果是第三人称单数,助动词为does, 谓语动词大部分要在后面加s.
3. say a rhyme
T: boys and girls, have you got it? The use of ‘do’ , ‘does’ ,sometimes plus ‘s’ at the end of the verb. Well, here is a rhyme for you. But it’s not complete. Can you finish it?
PPT:呈现rhyme,
Teacher, teacher, what ____ you do?
English, English, I ____ English.
Doctor, doctor, what ____ he do?
People, people, he ____ sick people.
Worker, worker, what ____ she do?

Step three: Consolidation
T: The rhymes you make are really very good! I’m so proud of you! And I’d like to reward you with two games.
1. PPT: Game one --- guess their jobs
Rule(游戏规则): 仔细看图片或听声音,猜猜是什么职业。学生A来提问“what does …do?”,然后在小组内选择一名学生B来回答“he’s/she’s a …. he/she….”
Policeman, driver听声音猜
Farmer, teacher, cook 看图片轮廓阴影猜
Nurse, doctor, worker 看残缺图片猜
2.PPT:Game two--- ask and answer
Rule(游戏规则):小组内两人一组,A抽人物的卡片并提问‘what does…do?’B抽物品卡片并回答“he’s/she’s a …. he/she….”
教师请一个同学和自己示范游戏,然后小组活动,最后请两组展示。
Step four: Extension
Policeman, driver, teacher, cook, doctor and so on… they’re all jobs. There are many jobs in the world. Different people have different jobs. My father, my mother and I have different jobs.
PPT展示自己的幸福家庭。
This is my father. This is my mother. This is me.
He’s an engineer. She’s a accountant. I’m a teacher.
He uses scientific knowledge to solve practical problems.
She maintains and audits business accounts.
I teacher English.
This is my family. We have different jobs but we all love our jobs. Jobs can keep us energetic and happy! What about your family? Can you introduce your family to us? Here’s the thing.
